Tonic Media Jigsaw Creator Puzzle Box :D

A matching box for the magnetic puzzle I shared the other day :D I made the magnetic puzzle around the idea that you'd keep it out on the fridge, but so it has somewhere safe to live, I thought I'd make it a matching box :D I used the same Media Jigsaw die, but this time cutting it from Grey Board (or the back of envelopes) And to make the shimmer powders into more of a paint, I mixed them with White and Clear Gesso :D :D

I'm loving the new Tonic Media dies! Because they allow you to cut through thicker materials without having to have a die-cutting machine with a deep opening! And the recommendation for using these dies in your machine, is you MUST use the metal shim, otherwise the dies will leave deep grooves in your cutting plate! And you use whatever combination of plates you would use if you were embossing a die, but take out the rubber mat and instead add in the metal shim between the base plate and your card :D I think that makes sense lol, I will have a talking video on these fab new dies over on my third channel CRaFTi PoTeNTiAl Know How sometime soon too :D :D :D
